Married in Morocco Series: This Exceptionally Beautiful Moroccan Wedding was Planned in 7 Weeks!

Welcome to the final part of our ‘Married in Morocco’ blog series. Our first post in this series, had everything you need to know about marrying in Morocco. Part 2, was a VLOG giving you an all access pass to behind-the-scenes look at our Moroccan Wedding. Last week, we gave you tips on how to create your Moroccan themed wedding here in London. Today, we are sharing photos of our incredible Moroccan wedding photographed by the super talented Raisa Zwart

I met with the wonderful couple, Rose and Andrew, 7 weeks prior to their wedding date. They live in london and wanted a destination wedding in Morocco. Instinctual, they knew they needed a wedding planner to ease some of their wedding planning stress that all couples get, especially when planning from afar and in a very short timescale.

At our meeting Rose and Andrew said they wanted a beautiful and unique venue, with accommondation for their guests and located in the Atlas Mountains. They wanted a private place for their ceremony, amazing Moroccan food, and a chill-out area for their guests to relax after the wedding breakfast. Very early in my venue search I found the gorgeous boutique hotel Kasah Bab Ourika. Kasah Bab Ourika offers 360 panoramic views, warm sunlight all day ending in spectacular sunsets. The couple and their guests stayed at the hotel’s private villa which is situated in the biologic gardens. The villa has a spacious sitting room with fireplace, 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and an infinity pool which reflects the mountains.

It was the absolute perfect setting for their intimate wedding and it was going to bring the vision Rose had to life. Sometimes planning a destination wedding can be stressful for brides just because there is so much going on and they are hundreds or thousands of miles away. But things were different with Rose as she was very hands on and had a very specific idea of what this day was going to look like. Rose created beautiful design boards with detailed descriptions of items that we thought would be perfect, and piece by piece she saw her perfect wedding come alive.

From her jaw dropping Grace Loves Lace gown, to the enchanting flowers, to the natural tones the details of this wedding were absolutely breathtaking. The design of this wedding played off of the gorgeous setting and everything just turned out absolutely beautiful.

And of course, none of this would have been possible without these amazing suppliers!
