So you’ve set the date. Congrats! There are a few things to consider, however, if your wedding date falls within the chilly months. When it comes to London weather, it may not regularly snow, but, like earlier this year, it sure can be quite chilly! To combat the cold, and keep those shivers at bay, we have compiled a list of tips and tricks you might want to consider to keep everyone toasty warm.

- Bridesmaids – Consider dressing your bridesmaids in long sleeve, and long dresses, paired with warm cashmere shawls and ankle boots. This provides a romantic look while still making way for the functionality of weather-resistant style.
- Bride –Outdoor photography is especially beautiful in the winter. The bright light bounces off the snow underfoot, cultivating a dreamy wonderland atmosphere to collections. However, regardless of the allure of these benefits, who would want to be miserable during their bridal portraits? Not me! Consider incorporating a fur or faux fur shawl into your ensemble. These accessories can instantly add an element of glamour while maintaining their warm functionality.
- Guests – If your guests will be exposed to the elements at any time, it would be incredibly thoughtful to offer them the option of handwarmers or blankets to stay warm. A super cute sign accompanying them, reading “to have and to hold in case you get cold” would be the perfect addition!
- Cocktail Hour – One search on Pinterest will lead you to an absolute wonderland of warm cocktail options. Talk with your fiancé and venue about the option of offering a warm option. A spiked apple cider and hot buttered rum are two of my favorites when these chilly nights roll in!
